ENJOY YOUR LIFE

Life should be enjoyed, not endured. We have the choice to live on the edge of excitement or on the depths of despair. God has given life as a gift with all of its fullness. We need to practice the attitude of: This is the day the Lord has made; I SHALL REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT !

Life is filled with choices. Choice is the element of truth that will determine our destiny. Choice is born out of our soul. The soul is the seat of thought, emotions, and understanding. The soul should not be determined by outward circumstances, but by the inner voice of the Spirit of God. We must ask God regarding our purpose and reason for this place in our life. What is it that God is doing in and through me right now?

Here are some ways to get through your present circumstances:
  • Choose life.
  • Choose to smile.
  • Choose to quit complaining.
  • Choose to find the positive in a seemingly negative circumstance.
  • Choose to remember that God is in control and you are not.
  • Guard your speech.
  • Have a joyful heart.

Matthew 6:33 says to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things (good things) will be added to your life.

You are a blessing and have been created to be a blessing. Believe that good things are attracted to you. See yourself as a blessing magnet. Believe that you receive and you shall have it.

SMILE, IT WILL INCREASE YOUR FACE VALUE !

By the Words of Our Mouth”

Words are a creative force. May we not become sloppy or lazy with the gifts of words.

Interesting study.

eu phe mism (yoo’ fe mis’ em), n. 1. The substitution of a mild, indirect, or vague expression for one thought to be offensively harsh or blunt. 2. The expression so substituted: “To pass away” is a euphemism for “to die”

All of the following definitions are taken from The Random House Dictionary of the English Language (The Unabridged Edition 1966) unless otherwise noted.

Dang (dang), v.t., adj., n. damn (used euphemistically).

Darn 2 (därn), Informal. –adj., adv. 1. Darned. –v.t. 2. To curse; damn: Darn that pesky kid! --n. 3. Give a darn. See damn (def.11). [var. of damn]

I'll be darn means I'll be damned

dog gone (dog’gon”, --gon’, dog’--) v. t., --goned, --goning, adj. superl. –gon est, adv. Informal. –v,t, 1. To damn: Doggone your silly ideas. –adj. 2. Also, doggoned. damned, confounded: That was a doggone insult. Well, I’ll be doggoned. 3. Also, doggoned. Informal. Damned: He’s a doggone poor sport. [euphemistic alter. of God damn(ed)]

shoot2 (shoot). Euphemism for shit. (according to the New College Edition of the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language)

whiz2 (hwiz, wiz), n. wizard (def. 3). (often attached to gee) Jesus the Wizard

wiz ard (wiz’ erd), n. a. one who professes to practice magic; a magician or sorcerer.

So, euphemisms directed towards God or profane should not be apart of our conversation. We need to learn how to chose our words and make our words count.

Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

God has put His words in your mouth. Speak what God is speaking.

Have a fantastic and word anointing day !

Why Did Jesus Fold His Napkin?

Why Did Jesus Fold the Napkin?

Why did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection? The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes. The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly folded, and was placed separate from the grave clothes. Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, 'They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and Idon't know where they have put him!' Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see.. The other disciple outran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and lying to the side.

Was that important? Absolutely! Is it really significant? Yes! In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have tounderstand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition. When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that itwas exactly the way the master wanted it.. The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished. Now if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin andtoss it onto the table. The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, 'I'm done'.

But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because.......... The folded napkin meant, 'I'm coming back!' He is Coming Back!

Have Victorious Resurrection Day !!!!!!!
